Do Guapuruvu à canoa caiçara: vozes entrelaçadas no território dos saberes e fazeres no Ensino de Artes Visuais

Abstract

O presente estudo propõe cobrir uma lacuna existente entre o Ensino de Artes Visuais e as culturas tradicionais das populações caiçara da baía da Ilha Grande- situada na Costa Verde do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Justifica-se o interesse proposto por este TCC em razão da urgência na valorização destas discursividades de natureza contra hegemônica no âmbito escolar. O trabalho busca um diálogo entre os saberes e fazeres relacionados a esse grupo cultural de modo a aproximar temáticas curriculares e possíveis ações pedagógicas à luz das manifestações que compõe estes cotidianos. Visa ampliar a reflexão e o debate entre os conteúdos/acervos dispostos na exposição “Certos Modos de Ser Caiçara” e o Ensino de Arte em contextos escolares, a fim de provocar maior visibilidade dessas expressões/representações no ambiente educacional. Neste sentido, engajando-se em uma agenda decolonial, deseja-se estimular novas formas de abordagens que ressignifiquem e potencializem a (re)leitura de imagens em articulação com o contexto sociocultural contemplado. Esta investigação é um convite a uma (re)interpretação imagética de iconografias revisitadas que estabeleçam novos olhares no Ensino de Artes Visuais, aliando-se ao (re)conhecimento das tradições que compõem a realidade local destas comunidades associadas ao repertório/vocabulário, do universo tratado. Oportuniza-se experiências e vivências da equipe do Ecomuseu Ilha Grande, de modo a articular diversos conhecimentos, narrativas e memórias representativas dessas populações, com vistas a enriquecer o campo da formação em Artes Visuais, ao mesmo tempo que se anuncia como um caminho de resistência e luta contra os poderes hegemônicos que insistem em invisibilizar/silenciar as culturas de comunidades tradicionais.

This study proposes to present an existing gap between Visual Arts Teaching and traditional cultures of caiçara people from Ilha Grande Bay - located in Rio de Janeiro’s Green Coast. The justification for why Term Paper is being proposed is due to the urgency in the appreciation of counter-hegemonic discourses in the school environment. This work seeks a dialogue between the knowledge and practices related to this cultural group in order to bring together curricular themes and possible pedagogical actions in the light of manifestations that are part of these daily lives. The aim is to expand the reflection and debates about the contents/collection that are part of “Certain Ways to be Caiçara” exhibition and Arts Teaching in school contexts, in order to get bigger visibility of these expressions/representations in educational environment. In this sense, committed to a decolonial agenda, aims to stimulate new approaches that are capable of give a new interpretation and leverage the (re)reading of images that dialogue with sociocultural context that is being presented. This study is an invitation to a (re)interpretation of images and iconographies revisited in the Visual Arts Teaching, together with the (re)discover of the traditions that are part of the reality of this local communities that are closely associated to the repertoire/vocabulary of Caiçara’s universe. Experiences of the Ilha Grande Ecomuseum team are provided, in order to articulate different knowledge, narratives and representative memories of these populations, enriching the field of Visual Arts education, while it announces itself as a way of resistance and fight against the hegemonic powers that insist on making invisible and silent the traditional cultures communities.
