O negro no Brasil República: revoltas populares e movimentos sociais

Abstract

Este material busca abordar a História do Brasil republicano sob uma ótica diferente da tradicional: estudar esse período histórico protagonizando as populações negras em alguns recortes de tempo. É uma pesquisa bibliográfica e historiográfica. Pretende contribuir para uma educação antirracista e decolonial. Através de oficinas pedagógicas, estuda a primeira república sob o viés das revoltas populares que foram realizadas por pessoas negras, que lutavam por direitos e melhores condições de vida. Trabalha a década de 1930 privilegiando a Frente Negra Brasileira, organização negra que buscava maior inserção social desta população, em meio à era Vargas. Aborda o Movimento Negro Unificado criado em 1978 e sua atuação na sociedade, paralelo à ditadura militar e o início da redemocratização no Brasil. Desta forma, o processo de ensino-aprendizagem favorece a inclusão de uma população historicamente excluída no Brasil, e promove aos estudantes uma maior conscientização da importância dos negros na construção de nosso país,contribuindo na construção de identidade e em uma educação antirracista.

This research seeks to approach the History of Republican Brazil from a different perspective than traditional: studying this historical period featuring black populations in some time cuts. It is a bibliographical and historiographical research and intends to contribute to a anti-racist and decolonial education. Through pedagogical workshops, studies the first republic under the bias of popular revolts that were carried out by Black people, who fought for rights and better living conditions. Works in the 1930s, privileging the Black Front Brazilian, a black organization that sought greater social insertion of this population, in the midst of the Vargas Era. It addresses the Unified Black Movement created in 1978 and its role in society, parallel to the military dictatorship and the beginning of redemocratization in Brazil. In this way, the process of teaching-learning favors the inclusion of a historically excluded population in Brazil, and promotes greater awareness among students of the importance of black people in the construction of our country, contributing to the building of identity and anti-racist education.
