Investigações matemáticas: uma proposta de atividades para o ensino fundamental

Abstract

Neste trabalho apresentamos algumas definições, aspectos e considerações acerca das investigações matemáticas, na perspectiva de Ponte. Buscamos mostrar o que é essa poderosa estratégia metodológica e quais os benefícios decorrentes de seu uso; evidenciar as diferenças entre tarefas de investigação matemática e outras atividades matemáticas, bem como mostrar ao professor de que forma pode se dar o desenvolvimento de uma aula investigativa, distinguindo qual o seu papel nesse contexto e quais possíveis ações a serem tomadas durante a condução das discussões junto a seus alunos. Também propomos neste trabalho um caderno de tarefas de investigação com o foco na aplicação em turmas de ensino fundamental e que trabalham temas relativos aos quatro campos que compõem a matemática. Dessa forma, queremos promover não só o conhecimento teórico acerca das investigações matemáticas, mas também estimular a utilização desse recurso por parte até mesmo dos professores que estarão tendo seu primeiro contato com o assunto no decorrer das próximas páginas.

In this paper we present some definitions, aspects and considerations about mathematical investigations, from Ponte's perspective. We seek to show what this powerful methodological strategy is and the benefits of its use; highlight the differences between mathematical research tasks and other mathematical activities, as well as show the teacher how the development of an investigative class can take place, distinguishing what is its role in this context and what possible actions to take while conducting discussions with students. We also propose in this work a research assignment book focusing on application in elementary classes and working on topics related to the four fields that make up mathematics. Thus, we want to promote not only the theoretical knowledge about mathematical investigations, but also stimulate the use of this resource by even the teachers who will have their first contact with the subject over the next pages.
