Diversidade cultural em cena: uma reflexão sobre a identidade cigana nas aulas de espanhol

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como objetivo promover uma reflexão a respeito da temática da diversidade cultural no ambiente escolar. Desse modo, apresenta uma produção didática direcionada a alunos de espanhol da terceira série do ensino médio. As atividades baseiam-se em uma campanha de sensibilização, promovida pela ONG Fundación Secretariado Gitano, acerca do tema da exclusão social dos ciganos na Espanha. Para o desenvolvimento da proposta, tomamos como embasamento teórico principal as considerações de Hall (2006) a respeito do conceito de identidade, e de Canen e Oliveira (2002) sobre o enfoque do multiculturalismo crítico. Do ponto de vista dos estudos da linguagem, destacamos a relevância dos estudos de Bakhtin (2003), Maingueneau (2013) e Lopes-Rossi (2006) acerca da perspectiva dos gêneros discursivos. Pretende-se, com a realização deste estudo, estimular a construção de práticas escolares que promovam a ampliação de conhecimentos sobre a língua espanhola de maneira contextualizada, de modo a contribuir para a formação de alunos críticos e participativos em sociedade

The present study aims to promote a reflection about the theme of cultural diversity in the school environment. Thereby, it presents a didactic production directed to Spanish students of the third year of high school. The activities are based on an awareness campaign promoted by the NGO Fundación Secretariado Gitano on the issue of social exclusion of gypsies in Spain. For the development of this approach, we take as main theoretical basis the considerations of Hall (2006) regarding the concept of identity, and Canen and Oliveira (2002) on the critical multiculturalism approach. From the point of view of language studies, we highlight the relevance of the studies of Bakhtin (2003), Maingueneau (2013) and Lopes-Rossi (2006) on the perspective of discursive genres. The aim of this study is to stimulate the construction of school practices that promote the expansion of knowledge about the Spanish language in a contextualized way, so as to contribute to the formation of critical and participatory students in society.
