Magia e história: o uso das obras fílmicas de Harry Potter no ensino sobre nazismo

Abstract

Este projeto tem como objetivo apresentar um guia didático para o uso dos filmes da saga Harry Potter no ensino sobre o nazismo. Voltado para docentes de História, o material está alinhado aos objetivos da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) para o 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Desenvolvido com o propósito de contribuir para a prática pedagógica, o guia promove a construção do saber histórico ao apresentar novas abordagens para o ensino do conteúdo sobre o nazismo em sala de aula. As obras fílmicas da saga Harry Potter, criadas pela autora J.K. Rowling no final do século XX, são produtos midiáticos amplamente difundidos e fazem parte do repertório cultural dos estudantes. Por isso, refletem elementos do contexto social em que os discentes estão inseridos. Utilizar ferramentas que dialoguem com o universo cultural dos alunos abre novas possibilidades para o ensino, tornando-os sujeitos ativos no processo de aprendizagem. No produto desenvolvido neste trabalho, analisaremos de forma aprofundada cenas dos filmes Harry Potter e a Câmara Secreta e Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte. Por meio dessas narrativas, investigaremos como o conteúdo latente se conecta com eventos históricos do passado.

This project aims to present a teaching guide for the use of the Harry Potter film series in teaching about Nazism. Designed for history teachers, the material is aligned with the objectives of the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) for the 9th grade of elementary school. Developed with the purpose of supporting pedagogical practice, the guide promotes the construction of historical knowledge by presenting new approaches to teaching the content about Nazism in the classroom. The Harry Potter film series, created by author J.K. Rowling at the end of the 20th century, are widely disseminated media products and form part of the cultural repertoire of students. Therefore, they reflect elements of the social context in which learners are embedded. Using tools that engage with the cultural universe of students opens new possibilities for teaching, making them active participants in the learning process. In the product developed in this work, we will analyze in depth scenes from the films Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Through these narratives, we will investigate how the latent content connects with historical events of the past.
