Letramento crítico e combate ao bullying em aulas de língua portuguesa

Abstract

O bullying é um fenômeno recorrente no espaço escolar, sendo uma das mais significativas expressões da violência sofrida pelos estudantes e tem consequências diretas e indiretas nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem e na formação discente. Ciente da premência de construir estratégias de combate às práticas que caracterizam sua ocorrência, esta dissertação se propõe a contribuir para a formação de sujeitos críticos capazes de pensar, de forma consciente, suas atitudes e comportamentos, a fim de atuar contra as práticas de bullying que se difundem no ambiente escolar. A partir da análise da literatura sobre o tema e orientada pelos pressupostos da pesquisa-ação e combinando metodologias qualitativas e quantitativas, procura-se debater esse fenômeno com estudantes do 7º ano de uma escola pública estadual nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa, a partir da leitura e participação em um conjunto de atividades organizadas sob a perspectiva do Letramento Crítico (LC). O produto educacional elaborado para intervir nessa realidade teve o propósito de fomentar discussões e problematizar a realidade vivida pelos estudantes envolvidos na pesquisa. Os instrumentos utilizados para coletar dados foram questionário, aplicação das atividades e entrevista individual. Os resultados dessa pesquisa revelaram que os alunos após a intervenção foram capazes de refletir sobre as práticas de bullying, a partir da análise dos diferentes discursos presentes na leitura das atividades. Nesse sentido, se abre um caminho para que a escola possa ser um lugar relevante para debater, refletir e construir novas práticas que combatam o bullying em todas as suas expressões.

Bullying is a recurrent phenomenon in school space, one of the most significant expressions of violence suffered by students and has direct and indirect consequences in teaching and learning processes and in student education. Aware of the urgency of constructing strategies to combat the practices that characterize its occurrence, this dissertation proposes to contribute to the formation of critical subjects capable of consciously thinking their attitudes and behaviors in order to act against the practices of bullying that in the school environment. Based on the analysis of the literature on the subject and guided by the presuppositions of action research and combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies, we try to discuss this phenomenon with students of the 7th year of a state public school in Portuguese Language classes, from reading and participation in a set of activities organized from the perspective of Critical Literacy (LC). The educational product designed to intervene in this reality had the purpose of fomenting discussions and problematizing the reality lived by the students involved in the research. As research instruments, questionnaire, application of activities and individual interview were used. The results of this research revealed that the students after the intervention were able to reflect on the practices of bullying, from the analysis of the different discourses present in the reading of the activities. In this sense, it opens a way for the school to be a relevant place to debate, reflect and construct new practices that combat bullying in all its expressions.
