Combinatória: uma proposta para o sexto ano do ensino fundamental

Abstract

O estudo da Análise Combinatória é um conteúdo importante para o ensino de Matemática e restrito ao Ensino Médio. Esse é um dos motivos pelos quais os alunos do Ensino Médio têm demonstrado grandes dificuldades no seu aprendizado. Este trabalho apresenta uma proposta para que esse conteúdo seja agregado ao sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental de acordo com os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN), por meio do Princípio Fundamental da Contagem (PFC), sem a utilização de fórmulas. Somente com o uso desta ferramenta estruturada e fundamentada o aluno será capaz de se apropriar desse saber de forma adequada. Serão ainda salientados alguns aspectos importantes sobre o conhecimento prévio de cada aluno e propostas atividades para consolidar o aprendizado deste tema. A metodologia utilizada será a Resolução de Problemas que é um instrumento muito útil e eficiente no ensino da Matemática. Uma importante contribuição desse trabalho é refletir sobre a possibilidade de uma abordagem mais ampla de Análise Combinatória que possibilite ao estudante a construção de seu conhecimento sobre o assunto de forma mais criativa e autônoma.

The study of combinatorial analysis is one of the most fascinating contents of Mathematics, although it is being presented mechanically through the excessive use of formulas. This is one of the reasons that high school students have shown great difficulties in their learning. This research presents a proposal for this content to be added to the sixth year of primary education according to the National Curricular Parameters (NCP), through the Fundamental Principle of Counting (PFC), without the use of formulas. Only with the use of this structured and reasoned tool, the students will be able to have this acknowledgment appropriately. It will also highlight some important aspects about the previous acknowledgment of each student and proposed activities to consolidate the learning of this topic. In the last chapter, a selection of problems of the Brazilian Mathematical Olympiads will be presented. The methodology used will be Problem Solving which is a very useful and efficient instrument about the teaching of Mathematics. In this way, the teacher can enrich more the educational practice in the classroom, stimulating the creativity and providing a more pleasant learning to the student.
